Salsbury Industries Horizontal Mailbox for USPS Access

The Salsbury 3700 Series 4C Horizontal Mailboxes, specifically designed for front loading and U.S.P.S. access, are remanufactured by the company to meet the USPS-STD-4C Specifications. These mailboxes are ideal for apartments, commercial buildings, and residential developments, and are required for new construction and major remodels.

The U.S.P.S. standard 4C mandates a minimum of 1 parcel locker for every 10 tenant compartments. These mailboxes are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, constructed with heavy-duty aluminum and stainless steel hardware. They feature a durable powder-coated finish available in a variety of colors, including aluminum, bronze, gold, and sandstone.

The doors of the mailboxes include a heavy-duty cam lock with a dust/rain shield and 3 keys. The door sizes vary, with MB1 doors measuring 13-1/4" W x 3-1/4" H, MB2 doors measuring 13-1/4" W x 6-3/4" H, MB3 doors measuring 13-1/4" W x 10-1/4" H, and MB4 doors measuring 13-1/4" W x 13-3/4" H. The mailboxes are available in configurations with either 1 door wide (single column) or 2 doors wide (double column).

In addition to the standard mailbox compartments, the Salsbury 3700 Series 4C Horizontal Mailboxes offer fully integrated and stand-alone parcel lockers. These parcel lockers are available in 5 MB1 door heights (PL5 - 17-1/4" high) and 6 MB1 door heights (PL6 - 20-3/4" high).

The outgoing mail collection compartment is equivalent to two 3-1/4" high standard doors and is labeled "Outgoing Mail." This compartment includes the U.S.P.S. master lock access door and cannot be used for mail distribution. The compartment also features a 10-3/4" W x 3/4" H mail slot and a weather protection hood.

The mailboxes come with factory-installed 3/4" W x 1/4" D trim and a solid rear cover, ensuring a professional and finished appearance.
