The Salsbury 3500 Series Vertical Mailboxes - Recessed Mounted - U.S.P.S. Access have been approved by the U.S.P.S. for replacement and retrofit installations. They are perfect for apartments, condominiums, and commercial buildings. These mailboxes are constructed entirely of aluminum and feature a durable powder coated finish. The finish is available in aluminum, brass, bronze, sandstone, and green.

For recessed mounted vertical mailboxes, the rough opening should be 1-1/2" less than the width of the unit, 1-1/4" less than the height, and equal to the depth of the unit. These mailboxes can be easily fitted into the rough opening and securely fastened with mounting hardware (not included) through the back or side panels. The units come with a fully integrated flanged collar that fits over the rough opening. The doors and trim are striated to resist scratching. There are various options available when it comes to the number of compartments, ranging from 3 to 7.
